role
Built the whole website from the ground up: the ecommerce side, the front end and deployment.

## The problem

OfficeWorks PH already sold online on WooCommerce, but the website was slow. For a store with a large catalog of office supplies, machines and furniture, a slow site means buyers wait on every page. They needed it fixed without throwing away the catalog and order system they already ran on.

kept
  • WooCommerce back end
  • Product catalog
  • Orders
replaced
  • The slow front end

So we kept what worked and replaced what didn't. On top of WooCommerce we built a new, fast front end in Nuxt.js, then handled the deployment. The whole build took two months.

## What we built

What's visible on the live site:

  • A full online catalog with deep categories: office supplies, office machines, furniture, office security, technology, accounting and inventory, HR management, work-area and school supplies, and services
  • Product search, "Hot New Items", "Shop by Brands", "Best deals" and promotional banners (for example, HP printer discounts marked "Exclusive to OfficeWorks Website")
  • Customer accounts with "faster checkout", shopping lists and order history; a cart with peso subtotals
  • A downloadable pricelist, a store locator and a contact page
  • Industry and business-solution pages (trading and distribution, manufacturing, ERP, POS, payroll, HR)
  • A live chat support entry point and a newsletter signup
  • Purchase-protection policies (shipping, returns, cancellation, refunds)

No AI features are visible on the public site.
